Tsunami Slim Wave Casting Rods are constructed of a super resilient nano carbon for strength and weight reduction. They have been outfitted with Fuji O aluminum-oxide guides, a Fuji graphite reel seat with trigger and stainless hoods and a custom EVA grips. The reargrip has been split to further reduce weight.

The new Tsunami SW Slimwave rod brings together a combination rarely seen in tackle this day and age, it is a very light weight, sensitive rod that has a slow to moderate action.  Over the last number of years more and more rods all seem to be built with a fast or extra fast action which anglers have been going crazy over, and in some situations that is understandable.  What many anglers fail to realize is that there can be tremendous advantage to a slower action blank.  The softer blank and slower action of the Slimwave allows a jig to swim much more naturally through the water, as well as producing fewer pulled hooks with soft mouthed species like flounder and sea trout.  If you are jigging for fluke or blackfish in the Northeast, chasing speckled trout down in the bayou, or even swimming hair jigs for black bass the SW Slimwave rod may be exactly what you’ve been waiting for!
